180. Where a person is convicted of an offence under paragraph a) of subsection (1), or subsection (3) or (4) of section 249, subsection (1) of section 252, section 253, subsection (5) of section 254, subsection (2) or (3) of section 255 of the Criminal Code (Revised Statutes of Canada, 1985, chapter C-46) or where a person is convicted of an offence under section 220, 221 or 236 of the said Code if the offence was committed with a road vehicle, including an off-highway vehicle, his learner’s licence, probationary licence or driver’s licence are cancelled and the judge pronouncing the conviction shall order that the licences be confiscated and returned to the Société.
If the person does not hold a licence, a learner’s licence, a probationary licence or a driver’s licence, his right to obtain such a licence is suspended.
